Library Key Blox Fruits: Death Step

The Library Key is a puzzle key that serves one purpose only: opening the room of Phoeyu, the Reformed, in the Ice Castle (Second Sea). It is one of the prerequisites for learning the Death Step fighting style. It never stays long in your inventory, but once the door is opened, it remains open for good.

How to get it

10% chance to drop when defeating the Awakened Ice Admiral, in the main room of the Ice Castle. It is the only enemy in the game capable of dropping it. When you defeat it, you can also obtain the Hidden Key, which has a much lower drop rate.

What it's used for

The Library Key opens the door located on the right side of the corridor in the Ice Castle, the one that leads to Phoeyu, the Reformed's room. It is a required passage for the next part of the Death Step quest.

Good news: you can open this door even if you haven't yet met the Death Step requirements. It then remains unlocked permanently, including if you leave the game and join another server. In other words, you only need the key once in your lifetime.

Good to know

The key disappears if you die or if you leave the game. The same applies to the Hidden Key, the Water Key, and the Red Key: go straight to your objective once you have it.
Only the Awakened Ice Admiral can drop the Library Key. The Hidden Key, on the other hand, can drop from any enemy in the Ice Castle.
The key is located in the Second Sea, in the Ice Castle.
