Lantern Blox Fruits: stats and obtaining

The Lantern is a large ship in the Luxury category: 2,500 HP, four cannons, four flags, a dark and white wooden hull, and above all the lantern attached to its bow that gives it its name. It's the only ship in the game whose unlock costs Fragments, and its lantern serves to see in the maritime danger zone 6 (???) of the Third Sea.

How to get it

Two distinct steps:

Unlock it by exchanging 1,500 Fragments with the Cyborg (the NPC, not the fruit).
Buy it afterwards for 5,000 Beli from the Boat Dealer.

What It's For

Its lantern allows you to see in the Sea Danger Level 6 (???) of the Third Sea. That's its true reason to exist, and the only use that the source attributes to it outside of standard navigation.

Things to Know

The Lantern replaced the Flower Ship in Update 20.
It's the only ship in the game whose acquisition costs Fragments.
It's bought from the Boat Dealer, but it's not a Game Pass ship.
It can fire at wider angles than any other ship in the game.
Small inconsistency in the source, to verify in-game: the description of its appearance mentions four cannons distributed two on each side, while the explanation of its firing angles attributes this advantage to cannons at the front.
