The Sweet Chalice (also called Chocolate Chalice) is an item in the
Third Sea that serves only one purpose: to spawn the
Dough King. You obtain it from the
Sweet Crafter at
Chocolate Land in exchange for 1 God's
Chalice and 10
Conjured Cocoa. Fragile item: it disappears from your inventory as soon as you die or leave the game.
How to get it
- Go to Chocolate Land (Sea of Treats, Third Sea) and find the Sweet Crafter.
- Give him 1 God's Chalice and 10 Conjured Cocoa.
- He gives you the Sweet Chalice in exchange.
Spawn the Dough King
- On Cake Land, you need 500 enemies to be defeated.
- Once this counter is reached, go talk to
drip_mama with the Sweet Chalice. - The Dough King appears.
- You don't need to hold the chalice in your hand when you talk, but it must be in your hotbar.
- Only the player who owns the Sweet Chalice can spawn the Dough King. Without the chalice, talking to drip_mama spawns the
Cake Prince instead: that's the default boss.
The Pitfall to Avoid
Like other items of this kind, the Sweet Chalice disappears from your inventory if you die, get disconnected, or leave the game. You then have to start all over from the beginning, God's Chalice included, and that's what costs the most.
The right order: make sure the 500 kills on Cake Land are already done (or well on the way) and that your group is ready before going to exchange your God's Chalice with the Sweet Crafter.
