Ancient Vampire

How to get it

Encountered only during the Trial of Carnage - you must defeat its waves to complete the trial. Avoid high knockback attacks (an ejected Ancient Vampire can bug and block the trial); Buddha with a good Combat style or sword does the job.

How to deal with them

• Avoid attacks with heavy knockback. An Ancient Vampire sent too far can get stuck outside the arena and make the Trial of Carnage impossible to finish.
• The recommended combo is Buddha together with a strong fighting style or a good sword: the wider hitbox clears the waves.
• If you own permanent fruits, run Buddha for the whole trial, then switch back to your PvP fruit as soon as it ends.
• Without permanent fruits, keep Buddha for the last man standing phase only.

Good to know

• It looks exactly like the Vampire from Graveyard Island: same outfit, same model.
• Oddity: although it uses Aura, its hands are not black like on the other enemies that use it.
