The Dragon Tamer is a shop NPC who sells only one thing, but it matters if you play
Dragon: the ability to carry your allies on your dragon form. A saddle for Dragon (West), reinforced hair for Dragon (East). You need the Dragon fruit equipped and 500
Mastery for him to accept talking to you.
How to get it
He appears in two seas. In
Second Sea, he stands at the top of the pillar closest to the
Cursed Ship, at
Graveyard Island. In
Third Sea, he is outside, in front of the
Dragon Dojo, next to a tree above the
Hydra Town Quest Giver, near the waterfall at the top of
Hydra Island.
What He Unlocks
| Upgrade | Affected Form | Effect | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saddle | Dragon (West) | Up to 5 allies can fly with you | 5,000 |
| Strong Hair | Dragon (East) | Up to 4 allies can fly with you | 5,000 Fragments |
Both together will cost you 10,000 Fragments. In both cases, you need to have the Dragon fruit equipped and 500 Mastery on it.
His Dialogues and What They Mean
| What He Says | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Greetings, traveler. I see you are not bonded with the power of the Dragon fruit. Only those who wield its might can proceed... | You don't have the Dragon fruit equipped |
| Your connection to the Dragon is still weak. Strengthen it by Reaching 500 Mastery, and the path forward will reveal itself. | Dragon equipped, but less than 500 Mastery |
| The power of your Dragon (East) fruit is incomplete. Shall I unlock it for you? | Dragon (East) equipped with more than 500 Mastery |
| The power of your Dragon (West) fruit is incomplete. Shall I unlock it for you? | Dragon (West) equipped with more than 500 Mastery |
| Saddle is currently locked. This upgrade allows up to 5 allied players to fly with you. I can unlock it for 5,000 Fragments | Offer to buy the Western Dragon's saddle |
| Strong Hair is currently locked. This upgrade allows up to 4 allied players to fly with you. I can unlock it for 5,000 Fragments | Offer to buy the Eastern Dragon's mane |
Things to Know
- The Fandom recommends choosing Dragon (West) first: more seats and faster than the East version.
- The Eastern Dragon would display more than 10 seats, but as soon as four players are seated, the others disappear. The page indeed announces 4 maximum allies for this form: the two numbers coexist without explanation.
- Your allies cannot ride on the tail, head, or wings, whether in East or West.
- The Fandom links his entry to Update 24.
