Cursed Pumpkin Seed

How to get it

The seed drops from the Pumpkin Snowman, an enemy that spawns at random around the map, in all three seas: three Jack-o-lanterns fallen beside each other, which stack up once built. Each Pumpkin Snowman drops one, along with 20 to 40 Pumpkin Bits according to its page as of November 4 and an event potion.

The regular Pumpkins that spawn around the map can also drop one, rarely. The seed's page has said so since November 4, and the Pumpkin page already listed the seed among its occasional drops on November 2. No rate is given: break the pumpkins you come across, but rely on the Pumpkin Snowman to gather your three seeds.

The Fandom page first mentioned, on the morning of October 31, a "special Jack-o-lantern variant" made of three stacked pumpkins, removed the sentence, then named the Pumpkin Snowman in the afternoon: it is the same creature. The stack caps at 99, according to the infobox completed on the evening of November 1. In-game item description: "A mysterious seed infused with a powerful curse. Who knows what it might grow?"

What it does

What it is for

Bring 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits to the Witch: she brews an orange substance in a second cauldron and opens a portal to the Observatory of the Great Pumpkin, the exclusive raid boss of Halloween 2026 (Lv. 3000, 415,000 HP). The Witch also uses the seed in a potion: the Soul Swap Potion costs 1 Cursed Pumpkin Seed and 100 Pumpkin Bits. With three seeds per boss, do not spend it on a potion before your first Great Pumpkin.
