Shark (Corrupted) is a
Legendary fishing rod - a
Shark Rod consumed by corruption, which according to its in-game description gives off a threatening aura seeping into everything around it. You obtain it in two stages from the
Oni Fisherman in the
Oni Realm: first unlock the recipe with
Corrupted Fish, then craft it for 500
Oni Token. It arrived with Update 27.1.
How to get it
Step 1, Unlocking. During the Red King events of the Summer Expansion and 50B Celebration, you needed to exchange a total of 100 Corrupted Fish for Oni Token.
Step 2, Crafting. Once the condition is met, you craft it for 500 Oni Token from the Oni Fisherman in the Oni Realm. It's usable in all three seas.
What it provides
- You keep your Shark Rod after obtaining Shark (Corrupted): it's an addition, not an exchange.
Fishing with it gives you 10% chances to catch Corrupted Fish, which directly feeds the Oni Token loop.- During the 50B event, it remained possible to obtain: you could keep exchanging fish and getting Oni Token with Corrupted Fish.
Its visual effect
Stay motionless for 20 seconds holding the rod: a corrupted aura erupts and swirls beneath your feet. Like its celestial twin, a
Flash Step doesn't take it with you: it remains planted where it appeared.
