The Fruit Notifier alerts you as soon as a fruit appears on the map and displays at the bottom of your screen the distance in meters separating you from it, recalculated in real time as you get closer. It's the go-to tool for hunting physical fruits, which disappear after 20 minutes if they aren't picked up. Only one condition, and it's strict: you must already be on the server when the fruit spawns.
How to get it
Permanent
Game Pass at 2700 Robux, available for purchase in the game shop. It has already dropped to 1999 Robux during the Easter event. Activation is automatic, a single purchase is enough, and the pass cannot be deactivated afterward.
How it works
- As soon as a fruit appears, the pass calibrates the distance and displays a meter counter at the bottom of your screen.
- The counter is dynamic: it decreases as you get closer, making the fruit much easier to locate.
- When the fruit disappears, picked up by someone else or despawned on its own after 20 minutes, the pass displays "Fruit despawned".
- Once purchased, it doesn't turn off. Like all Game Passes, it's active permanently.
Spawn frequency
| Situation | Frequency |
|---|---|
| Weekdays | One fruit every hour |
| Weekends | One fruit every 45 minutes |
| Time before disappearance | 20 minutes if no one picks it up |
| Only 2 fruits per server launch |
On a private server, once the two fruits are gone, you need to restart the server to see more. The 20-minute disappearance timer applies there as well.
The limitation that costs the most
The pass only works if you're already connected to the server when the fruit appears. If you join a server where a fruit has already spawned, you won't receive any notification - this is what breaks the server-hopping technique for those who were hoping to use it.
The hidden 30 to 40-minute cooldown
This is the least-known pitfall, and it's not indicated anywhere in-game. When you pick up a fruit that naturally appeared under a tree, you trigger an invisible cooldown of approximately 30 to 40 minutes. During this time: - the Fruit Notifier doesn't work at all; - you don't even see fruits that naturally appeared under a tree, and you can't interact with them.
Practical consequence: if your goal is to chain servers looking for fruits, avoid picking up worthless fruits - you'd lock yourself out for half an hour.
How to use it well
- Play in
First Sea: that's where it shines most, because players harvest fruits less often there and own the pass less frequently. - Combine it with
Portal: you reach the fruit well before anyone else. - The
Cursed Ship case: in
Second Sea, a fruit can appear at Cursed Ship. In this case the counter usually displays 3500 m or more, because that zone is reached by teleportation and isn't located in the visible ship - it's far behind the
Kingdom of Rose, and touching it directly can kill you. Go through the entrance next to
Graveyard Island instead. Below level 1000, you'll need to be very fast and enter using
Flash Step.
What it's really worth
Blox Fruit Gacha already allows you to get physical fruits, so the pass isn't essential as a primary method.- Without it, finding physical fruits becomes significantly harder.
- It really shines for heavy traders and those who organize a lot of giveaways.
- Being permanent, it pays for itself over time - it clearly targets players committed for the long term.
- Anecdote: during the 2023 Easter event, fruits appeared as eggs every 25 minutes instead of every hour, and the pass was on sale at 1999 Robux.
Strengths and weaknesses
- Dynamic distance counter - the fruit becomes easy to find
- Notified at each spawn (every hour, every 45 minutes on weekends)
- Permanent and automatic - a single purchase, no activation to manage
- Highly profitable for traders and giveaway organizers
- Excellent in First Sea, where few players harvest fruits or own the pass
- Devastating combo with Portal to arrive first
- Only works if you're already on the server when the fruit spawns
- Hidden 30 to 40-minute cooldown after picking up a fruit under a tree - the pass shuts down without warning
- Very expensive - 2700 Robux
- On private servers, only two fruits per server launch
- Impossible to deactivate once purchased
- Blox Fruit Gacha remains an alternative for getting fruits without spending Robux
Our take
Reserved for players invested long-term - if you trade a lot or organize giveaways, it's a great tool. For a casual player, the price is too high compared to the service provided.
